Job Description
- Conducting routine inspection and provide accurate measurements of doors and windows.
- Provide timely and quality repairs of customers' products including, but not limited to, screen installation, sash replacement, glass replacement, hardware replacement, and seal repairs.
- Provide accurate measurements of doors and windows.
- Coordinate required return visits; convey needed services, materials, and labor.
- Perform post-installation inspections.
- Anticipate obstacles that could impact customer expectations, job costs and/or code performance; recommend solutions.
- Promoting the company's services.
- Maintaining your technical and mechanical skills. Qualifications
- An Associate degree or technical certification in the industry.
- Previous experience servicing windows and doors.
- Previous experience in exterior replacement products.
- Valid Driver's License and driving record acceptable to insurance company.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Managing overtime on service calls with patience and not rushing the job.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- The ability to diagnose and solve problems based on customers' non-technical descriptions.
- Strong working knowledge of equipment and tools used in the industry.
- Physical fitness to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and bend frequently.
- Travel within radius of UWDs locations.
