Key Responsibilities:

Perform transit vehicle maintenance in compliance with company standards Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs on transit vehicles Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate repairs Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections. Read and interpret safety documents, blue-prints, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams Coach and monitor team members Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D) Must have automotive maintenance experience Appropriate ASE certifications: ASE certification program provided. Mechanic's Tool Set Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. Excellent communication skills Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason. CDL Class A/B with pax Endorsement preferred, will train

The essential functions of this position require the ability to: Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
