A Precision or Fine Instrument Repairer makes, calibrates, repairs, maintains, adjusts and installs mechanical watches and clocks, and nautical, meteorological, optical and other precision instruments and equipment, and sets them for correct performance.

Role Overview:
The Service Technician / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Service Engineer will perform electrical and mechanical service, maintenance, repair, testing, and commissioning of industrial equipment, including compressed air systems, blowers, vacuum pumps, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical machinery. This role will work closely with customers and internal engineering teams to ensure smooth project delivery, provide preventative maintenance, and improve overall system performance.

Mechanical Service Engineer Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial equipment including air compressors, blowers, pumps, refrigeration systems, and related machinery Perform planned and preventative maintenance, fault finding, and system diagnostics Install, test, validate, and repair equipment such as compressors, dryers, filtration systems, and pumps Provide recommendations on system upgrades and improvements Collaborate with customers to deliver high-quality service and resolve technical issues Maintain accurate job documentation and follow company safety policies Service Technician / Field Service Technician /
Mechanical Service Engineer Requirements:
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience on industrial, commercial, or technical equipment Previous experience in roles such as Field Service Engineer, Service Technician, Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Equipment Technician, HVAC Service Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Compressor Service Technician, Mechanical Field Engineer, Equipment Service Specialist, Field Maintenance Technician, Refrigeration Service Engineer, or Machinery Service Technician Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, vacuum systems, blowers, pumps, hydraulics, rotating equipment, automotive, or heavy machinery beneficial Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills for mechanical and electrical systems Willingness to be trained on compressed air and related equipment Ability to maintain professional relationships with customers Valid driver's license and clean driving record HVAC and EPA certifications advantageous but not essential
