JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Explain what the scope of the work/project is? Project Overview, deliverables (what is this person responsible for). The technician will support the Communications and Control Engineering Group primarily as a field resource responsible for checking settings, communications, and controllers or distribution devices. This includes work related to battery storage systems, program verification, troubleshooting, and database maintenance for this equipment. The role involves coordination with engineers and technical services staff to ensure device functionality and communication integrity 2. What does a typical day look like? The technician begins their day at a service center MDC and receives direction from the Engineering Group. They will travel to assigned field locations to perform communication equipment installations, verify programming, update communications, troubleshoot, and support engineers remotely. The role is 100% on-site and field-based, with travel throughout Colorado 5. Describe work environment / team culture (supportive/collaborative, teamwork or individual contributor)? Highly collaborative, requiring constant communication with engineering and technical staff. The technician must be a team player and comfortable working independently in the field while taking direction from multiple groups 6. Can you elaborate on any potential risks or safety considerations associated with this role, particularly if the responsibilities extend beyond a standard desk or office environment? This is a field-based position, so safety risks are mainly related to driving and traffic. The technician will be required to wear PPE such as a vest, and occasionally use a ladder for higher installations. Willing to use own car for this position. 8. What are the work hours/shift (standard, evening, full time/part time, OT required, on-call for 24/7 operation)? Full-time, 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime on occasion. Overtime is considered an exception, not standard 1. What are the top 3-5 skills and qualifications (technology/application/software, etc.) required?

• Electrical or communications troubleshooting experience
• Networking knowledge (firewalls, connectivity, Ethernet)
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Access proficiency preferred)
• Database updating and maintenance

Ideal candidate background and how many years required? Approximately 2 years of relevant experience in communications, IT, or electrical troubleshooting. Candidates may come from backgrounds in telecommunications, network support, or electrical panel wiring 4. Are there any specific companies you like to see on a candidate's resume? None specified, but experience from telecom companies such as Comcast or similar would be beneficial 5. Are there any certifications that the candidate must possess? N/A 6. Are there any preferred or "nice to have" skills?

What is the location of the contract assignment (Full time onsite, hybrid - percent of time on site/home or, are you open to fully remote)? If the resource is expected to be onsite, can you confirm if the resource can park on property/in the ramp? Full-time, 100% onsite/field-based. Primary base will be MDC service centers in Colorado Supports and assists in the design, development, production, testing, operation and maintenance of components and equipment. Prepares detailed drawings and layouts and conduct materials testing. Performs equipment maintenance, calibration, mechanical and electrical repairs, adjustments and monitoring of products under development. Experienced with complex instruments, testing equipment and gauges. May test models, write reports, identify problems and suggest solutions.
