Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Computer Hardware/Software Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain various electronic devices, including computers, smartphones, tablets, printers, and other consumer electronics. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive prompt and reliable service, helping them reconnect with their technology seamlessly. Responsibilities Perform hardware diagnostics and repairs on desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, using appropriate tools and schematics. Troubleshoot software issues across multiple operating systems such as Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. Conduct repairs involving electrical soldering, component replacement, and hardware maintenance to ensure device longevity. Support customer service efforts by providing clear explanations of repair processes and technical troubleshooting support. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to disassemble, analyze, and reassemble electronic devices accurately. Maintain detailed records/notes of repairs performed and parts used for each service ticket Qualifications Proven experience in desktop computer repair, personal electronics repair, or mobile device troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems. Proficiency in hardware diagnostics and software troubleshooting techniques. Skilled in using hand tools such as soldering irons, screwdrivers, and multimeters. Familiarity with schematics and technical documentation related to consumer electronics. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to identify issues quickly and accurately. Effective communication skills for customer interaction and technical support. Ability to perform electrical soldering and equipment repair safely and efficiently. Prior experience in retail sales or field service is a plus but not required.
