Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Apprentice Chimney Technician to join our team. This position will involve extensive training in sweeping, inspecting, diagnosing, installing, and repairing all manner of hearth equipment primarily in the Upper Cumberland Region of TN. This position will be a paid training position at $15-20/hour before earning CSIA certification. Upon certification, a take-home company vehicle will be provided and pay raised to $20-$25/hr + depending on performance. We are a Christian, veteran-owned and operated company and would be blessed to have you on board! Responsibilities Assist lead technician in performing installations and repairs Complete training and attain certification through the CSIA Assist and learn how to inspect and service chimneys and fireplaces Upon completing certification, perform services and inspections solo Maintain thorough and diligent records of work performed through photographs and inspection reports Maintain clean and orderly work vehicle Requirements Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and other employees Valid driver's license Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks Must be comfortable with heights Previous experience in roofing, masonry, and/or HVAC is a huge plus!!
