Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime or emergency service as needed Position Overview Purple Frog Pools is hiring an experienced Lead Pool Service Technician to oversee our service team and help maintain the high-quality, dependable service our customers expect. This is a hands-on leadership position. The Lead Service Technician will supervise and support approximately 5-7 pool service technicians , perform quality-control inspections, maintain a personal route of approximately 20-30 pools , and complete pool equipment diagnostics and repairs. We are looking for someone who understands pool service, takes pride in their work, communicates well, and can hold a team accountable while helping technicians improve. Primary Responsibilities Lead, train, and support a team of 5-7 pool service technicians Monitor technician performance, attendance, route completion, and service quality Perform regular quality-control inspections on customer pools Maintain and service a personal route of approximately 20-30 pools Diagnose and repair pumps, filters, motors, valves, plumbing, timers, automation systems, cleaners, and other pool equipment Balance pool water and identify chemical or equipment-related issues Help technicians troubleshoot difficult service problems in the field Ensure service notes, chemical readings, photographs, and repair recommendations are completed accurately Communicate professionally with customers regarding service concerns and repair needs Coordinate with management on scheduling, customer issues, equipment needs, and employee performance Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service vehicle Enforce company safety procedures and service standards Assist with emergency or time-sensitive service calls when necessary Identify opportunities for preventative maintenance and legitimate equipment repairs Qualifications At least 2 years of professional pool service and repair experience preferred Previous leadership, route-management, or field-supervision experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of pool chemistry, circulation systems, filtration, and equipment Ability to diagnose and complete common pool equipment repairs Comfortable supervising employees and providing direct, constructive feedback Strong organization, time-management, and communication skills Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Reliable attendance and professional appearance Ability to work outdoors in Texas weather conditions Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Certified Pool Operator or similar certification is a plus What Success Looks Like Technicians complete their routes correctly and on schedule Customers receive consistent, professional communication Pools remain clean, clear, chemically balanced, and properly documented Quality-control issues are caught and corrected quickly Repairs are diagnosed accurately and completed efficiently The service team becomes more organized, capable, and accountable Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Performance and leadership advancement opportunities Company service vehicle Paid training and certification opportunitiesPay:
