Job Description
We are a local Austin Propane Company, with over 30 years of Propane installation & delivery experience. We are seeking a Service Technician with a strong mechanical background, with basic plumbing knowledge, who will trouble shoot, install & maintain Propane tanks for our Residential, Commercial & Industrial customers. Someone who can run a Mini X and a trencher. We are

the right applicant.Responsibilities:
- Examine, troubleshoot & diagnose: Regulator, gas lines/connections & appliances for repairs or leaks.
- Maintain parts inventory for all jobs
- Install & pressure test gas lines to ensure customer safety, as well as meet all Texas Railroad Commission & local government rules/requirements.
- Fill out detailed invoices for all services performed & parts used (including pricing)
- Operate company vehicle in a safe, efficient & courteous manner.
- Inspect company vehicle daily and report any necessary repairs that need to be made in accordance with DOT or Company Policy.
- Willing to cross train as a Bobtail Delivery driver to load & deliver (LP Gas) propane to our customer tanks & cylinders within an assigned delivery area, filling out delivery tickets & maintain a daily manifest.
Requirements:
- Class A or B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Will allow 30 days to acquire endorsements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current DOT Medical Card
- MUST have a clean/clear MVR and be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug test, and Homeland Security Background Check
- Railroad Commission Certificates are a plus
- Positive, flexible, detail oriented attitude with the ability to take direction.
