NON-EXEMPT SUMMARY OF DUTIES
This role will maintain and repair all vending, fountain, coffee, ice and refrigeration equipment to maximize customer satisfaction and sales. Perform preventative and quality maintenance checks in addition to maintaining various records and reports.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment in the field. 2. Install, remove, and relocate equipment for installation. 3. Account for all product and cash from vending machines. 4. Maintain daily records including service calls, time, mileage, parts usage, parts inventory via handheld. 5. Perform daily handheld close out procedures. 6. Daily inspect company vehicle for pre/post maintenance. 7. Ensure appropriate levels of parts inventory and restock as needed. 8. Perform work on equipment in shop and make-readys when needed. 9. Completes service calls. 10. Transport product and equipment to and from special events. 11. Communicate with Equipment Manager and / or Assistant Equipment Manager regarding issues. 12. Regular, reliable, predictable attendance. 13. Attend and lead all mandatory meetings. 14. Must be available to work weekends when assigned and be on-call when assigned. 15. Follows all safety operations, and Company Vehicle and Equipment policies. 16. Performs other functions or duties as directed by management in line with the objectives of Oneta Company. 17. Serve customers (e.g., communication, rapport building, attentiveness to customer needs, etc.)MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3 years related experience, preferred.
- Diagnostic/troubleshooting experience preferred.
- HVAC certified a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 23 years age.
- Have a highly developed sense of urgency.
- Must have a good driving record.
- Must pass pre-employment physical.
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug screening.
- Must pass criminal background checks.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, and/or weekends/holidays.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repairs and maintenance.
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to and experience in moving large pieces of equipment with mechanical aides.
- Basic math skills.

- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Time and people management skills
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to build and maintain working relationships with customers.

WORKING AND ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS
- Work generally takes place in at Oneta Company customer accounts which may include working in close, confined spaces and exposure to occasional dust and unpleasant odors.
- Mostly out in the field and in and out of company vehicle.
- Extreme hot and cold temperatures depending on weather and store environment.
- May be fast-paced and high customer activity/shopping.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This position is labor intensive, a lot of walking, standing, requiring lifting, bending, stooping, crouching, squatting, kneeling, reaching, loading and pushing/pulling during work hours.
