Computer Repair Tech Job Description:
Under minimal supervision, the technician performs electro/mechanical assembly, failure analysis and development of repair process. Performs advanced diagnostic and component level repair.
Computer Repair Tech Job Responsibilities :
Performs complex repetitive testing, troubleshooting and prototype duties. Performs troubleshooting down to component level of analog and digital circuits and piece parts for mechanical assemblies. Uses automated industry standard production-testing equipment to diagnose, rework and refurbish equipment. Visually inspects product for damage, date, serialization or other identifiers. Skillfully uses a variety of advanced soldering techniques to remove and replace SMT, through-hole and circuitry. Assists other Technicians with set
  • ups, testing & instruction as needed.
Consults with other Technicians and Engineers to resolve problems. Responsible for achieving daily/weekly production goals. Assists with the development of repair processes and procedures. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Education/ Work Experience:
Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 1 year of experience in electronic-mechanical assembly and complex troubleshooting. Must have a "can-do" approach to every challenge and be a problem solver. Must be able to articulate verbally and in writing to clarify and resolve problems on all products.

Work Schedule:
Monday
  • Friday plus overtime on Saturdays ( Some Saturdays) 6am
  • 3pm and/or 7am
