Can work independently or as a member of a team to provide mechanical services that satisfies customer needs and achieves departmental goals. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 4:00 PM to 12:30 PM. Must be willing to work extra hours as needed! Our address is 2210 Legacy Parkway, Longview, TX 75602. Mid-level position

A Level III Technician has moderate knowledge of the field's standard and technical concepts, practices, and procedures. Level III Technician performs a variety of standard, complex, and technical tasks; is indirectly supervised and self-starting; often a team member on a large project.

Essential Functions Key Responsibilities:

Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission Troubleshoots and diagnoses industrial diesel and natural gas engines Disassembles and assembles of machine components to manufacturer's specifications through the use of hand tools, pneumatic tools, and any specialized tooling Rebuilds, repairs, reconditions, and maintains equipment and components Demonstrates good customer relations and support; communicates customer needs to shop management Plans and controls cost of repair jobs Completes parts orders and identifies parts for return Mentors and helps train other technicians Maintains all equipment and work areas

Hours and Location :

Requirements Education and Experience:

Four or more years of diesel or natural gas engines experience Ability and knowledge to read/use schematics and diagrams experience is preferred High school diploma or equivalent preferred Graduation from a diesel technology program preferred

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None Travel Some travel is expected for this position-for training Physical Requirements Must be able to move objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue Frequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina Ascends/descends with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climbs up and down ladders and/or equipment Be able to maneuver safely and work underneath equipment Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work Work Environment Regularly works indoors in a shop environment, around moving mechanical parts May be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity Noise level may be loud at times Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, dust, steam, high-pressure water, and high speed rotating equipment Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment Required to perform work in cramped spaces and/or high places
