General Job Description Safety Test Tool Service Center provides set-up and assembly of new tools, as well as; service, repair and testing of in-use equipment from the field. The Tool Repair Technician will be expected to assemble tools and build cable assemblies, as well as clean and repair cable/fiberglass. Duties & Responsibilities Monitor inventories Manage and prioritize daily workflow Repair customer tools in a timely basis Build cable assemblies as specified Complete work orders as specified Complete work as stated by customers Operate an industrial fork truck Maintain organization and cleanliness of shop Skills & Abilities Ability to fully understand and follow oral and written instructions Ability to communicate effectively Good mechanical aptitude; basic computing skills Capable of cleaning and repairing both cable/fiberglass Ability to operate basic office equipment (printer, computer, copy machine, telephone system) Skilled in reading tool breakdowns and manuals Ability to maintain a high attention to detail Capable of working independently with minimal supervision Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and possess a team-oriented mentality Education High School Diploma or equivalency Physical Requirements Capable of lifting and moving up to 75 Pounds Stand for long periods of time Bend, walk, sit and twist Climb a ladder
