This role is primarily focused on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems. This is a field-based role requiring a technician who can work independently, communicate with customers, and respond to service calls efficiently.
What You'll Do:
Diagnose and repair electrical issues in commercial and light industrial environments Perform service work on systems such as: Interior and exterior lighting systems Parking lot lighting Electrical components tied to HVAC and refrigeration equipment Respond to service calls and emergency requests, including after-hours when needed Perform electrical troubleshooting using meters, schematics, and diagnostic tools Complete minor installation work, retrofits, and system upgrades Work closely with HVAC technicians when electrical issues impact mechanical systems Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers and internal teams Maintain accurate service documentation and reports Follow all safety standards, including OSHA guidelines What You'll Bring to the

3+ years of experience in commercial electrical service work Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills (this is a service-first role) Experience working with: Lighting systems Electrical controls Commercial equipment (HVAC/refrigeration exposure is a plus) Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to work independently in the field Nice to
Haves:
Journeyman Electrician license (or working toward it) Experience with HVAC-related electrical systems Prior experience in a mechanical contractor or service-based environment
