Job Description:
As an Account/Installation Manager at Gasket Guy, you will serve as the primary solution provider for our clients' needs for cooler door maintenance. Your role will involve prospecting for new clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and actively selling and installing gaskets and hardware. This position requires a strong focus on client relationships. Your goal is to build sales in the Richmond areaKey Responsibilities:
- Actively prospect and acquire new clients in the commercial kitchen industry.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients.
- Provide quotations for gaskets, cutting boards, and other hardware.
Essential Job Functions:
- You do not need to have previous experience with refrigerator doors, but be ready and willing to learn.
- Basic understanding of light handyman-like skills, or the aptitude to learn.
- Physical requirements may include walking, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods, as well as driving to various customers on a daily basis.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Outgoing personality, ready and willing to talk to customers.
- Independent work ethic with efficient time management skills.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Technical aptitude to learn basic light handyman skills. Most gaskets just snap into a track, and hinges just screw in. Basic skills to look at a situation and figure out the right solution.
- Must provide own tools ( pack out likely needed)
- Computer literacy and proficiency in using digital sales/quoting/ordering tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Professional demeanor and presentation.
- Clean driving record and verifiable job references
Working Conditions:
- Training on our products and practices will be provided.
- Predominantly indoor work environment, with occasional outdoor inspections.
- Most work will take place at the customer's locations.
