Job Description
The City of Everett is currently accepting applications on an open/competitve basis for the Civil Service examination process for Small Tool & Equipment Repair Technician with the Everett Public Works Department. This is work in the maintenance and repair of small tools, equipment and engines. The work involves responsibility for keeping small power tools, engines and other assigned equipment in good repair. When repairs are needed, the incumbent returns the equipment to service quickly and economically. Employees in this class are responsible for performing engine troubleshooting, tracking equipment preventive maintenance schedules and monitoring shop repairs and maintenance. The responsibilities also include overseeing inventory and the ordering of parts, tools and other miscellaneous items.
