Job Description The Environmental Services Technician performs a variety of custodial and housekeeping duties, maintains desired standards of cleanliness, sanitation and appearance, leads cleaning activities in assigned areas, participates in staff development and training within the department. This position is per diem, hours and schedule may vary based on needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the disinfection of routine & terminal cleaning in areas assigned. Practices universal precautions and dispose of infectious waste according to approved standards. Disposes of trash, washes and relines trash container. Disinfects and cleans sinks and plumbing fixtures. Replaces paper and hand hygiene products. Checks supplies daily and replaces as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of EVS experience High School Diploma/GED The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $22.50. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
