Our ongoing goal is to continue building long lasting partnerships with our customers by providing great customer service and a quality product that they can rely on. Encore Vision will provide on-the-job training for all essential job functions over the course of employment. Essential job functions for Optical production worker (entry level): Operating surfacing or finishing equipment which includes loading and unloading lenses from various machines. Cleaning and inspecting eyewear for quality and accuracy prior to shipping or coating processes. Maintain safe and clean working conditions in the lab. Continually work on improving production techniques in order to eliminate errors and minimize breakage. Pull lenses for customer order, Order lenses to fulfill customers' orders, maintain lens stock levels Maintain a professional and positive attitude towards all customers and fellow employees. Data Entry, verifying orders, talking with customers on the phone Inventory control Optical experience preferred Salary is starting at DOE Must have reliable transportation, we are not on a bus route Abilities required: Good dexterity Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and standing for long periods of time Ability to multitask, work quickly, and efficiently Basic computer skills
