Service Technician Requirements High school diploma, GED, or technical school certification required. 2-4 years of experience in industrial maintenance, forklift repair, MHE service, conveyor maintenance, or automated equipment repair. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Experience reading schematics and using maintenance management software. ASE, Electrical Journeyman, or related certifications preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., operate lift trucks safely, and provide personal mechanic hand tools. Job Duties Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective repairs on MHE, conveyors, and automated systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using OEM software, wiring diagrams, service manuals, and schematics. Complete equipment inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA, manufacturer, and facility safety standards. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inventory counts, and PM documentation. Coordinate with Parts and Operations teams to ensure equipment readiness and minimize downtime. Communicate equipment status, repair timelines, and service needs with customers, supervisors, and site leadership. Achieve performance goals related to service response times, first-time fix rates, technician efficiency, and PM completion. Maintain a clean, organized work area and support continuous improvement initiatives. Benefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
