This is a hands-on, entry-level opportunity for someone interested in wireless internet, networking, and low-voltage installation. You will assist with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting internet service equipment at homes and businesses throughout Ventura County. Prior experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided for the right person. Duties Install and service fixed-wireless internet equipment at customer locations. Mount and align radios and related equipment. Run, secure, terminate, and test Ethernet and low-voltage cabling. Assist with troubleshooting internet connectivity and equipment issues. Configure basic routers, wireless access points, and network equipment. Use ladders, hand tools, power tools, cable testers, and mobile applications safely. Explain completed work and basic equipment operation to customers. Document installations, equipment information, test results, and completed repairs. Maintain an organized vehicle, tools, and assigned equipment. Follow company procedures and safety requirements at every job site. Experience and Qualifications No previous wireless or telecommunications experience is required. Basic mechanical ability and comfort using common hand and power tools. Willingness to learn networking, radio alignment, cabling, and troubleshooting. Comfortable working outdoors, using ladders, and working at heights. Able to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers. Dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work independently after training. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Previous experience with construction, cable installation, networking, electrical work, or field service is a plus.
