Training and assistance in the operation of the TSCOMM suite and Any Console Any Station (ACAS) HFGCS control console Radio Frequency (RF) systems subject matter expertise DISA node site operations Key Responsibilities (Principal Duties and Accountabilities •Essential Functions) Perform administrative tasks: Review correspondence Review message traffic Conduct ad hoc meetings with customer Coordinate and advise customer when equipment must be taken offline for maintenance or repair Perform

services and training related to the following:

Conduct Cryptographic restarts: assist the government in conducting cryptographic restarts IAW CMS directive and messages Maintain publications: keep up to date all local publications, instructions, and SOPs necessary for RF operations Troubleshoot DISA circuits: notify circuit users of expected down time, reason for the outage, and expected time of restoration; how to troubleshoot outages to the component level; report IDNX/ADNX and MPLS nodal outages; resetting

modem cards, placing node in a loop-back, and MPLS circuit actions Conduct voice/data communications: establishing and maintaining Ultra High Frequency/High Frequency (UHF/HF) secure and non-secure voice and data communications; how to submit Satellite Access Requests; coordinate the use and restoration of leased lines with other Government and commercial activities; conduct QC monitoring of all circuits and leased lines; maintain all logs and briefing/debriefing records associated with voice/data communication support provided by

Minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing operations similar in scope and complexity, including technical oversight and operational execution. Minimum of two (2) years of management and technical experience supporting the following areas: Tactical Support Communications (TSCOMM), including satellite communications (SATCOM), HFGCS/ACAS operations and management, and other voice/data communications. Communications Security (COMSEC) at the user level. Frequency and spectrum management. Compliance with directives applicable to communications station operations. Development of training guides and qualification materials similar to Job Qualification Requirements (JQRs). Fully qualified in accordance with EKMS-1 and EKMS-5 requirements, including completion of the TSCOMM Operator Course or equivalent on-the-job training. Experience supporting communications operations in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and security requirements. This position may involve travel to government test sites, training ranges, and operational locations, including potential OCONUS destinations for short periods of time.
