Contract / Part-Time About the Role OhmNow is looking for a reliable and technically minded EV Charging Station Technician/Electrical Technician to help maintain and service charging infrastructure in the Miami area. In this contract-based, part-time role, you will be our boots on the ground, ensuring our network operates smoothly so EV drivers always have a dependable place to charge. This position requires you to travel between local sites, perform routine inspections, troubleshoot hardware, and perform basic repairs.
Key Responsibilities Site Inspections & Maintenance:
Conduct routine physical inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic cleaning of EV charging stations.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve Tier 1 hardware, software, and connectivity issues on-site.
Component Replacement:
Perform modular repairs, such as replacing damaged cables, holsters, or screens as directed by the engineering team.
Reporting:
Accurately document all service visits, repairs, and escalated technical issues using our field management software.
Required Qualifications Technical Aptitude:
Basic understanding of electrical/mechanical systems and a willingness to learn specific charging hardware.
Independence:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage your own schedule and work autonomously in the field.
Mobility:
Personal vehicle, valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications EVSE Experience:
Prior experience working as an Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) technician is preferred but not required.
Certifications:
