Full Job Description We're Hiring:

Field Service Technician (Contract) Miami, FL $17-$20/hr + Growth Potential Cook Tech is expanding! We're on the lookout for reliable, detail-oriented Field Service Technicians to join our dynamic team supporting structured cabling and low-voltage installations across commercial sites. If you're hands-on, tech-savvy, and eager to grow—this is your launchpad.

What You'll Do:

Complete assigned work orders on-site (data cabling, hardware installs, network troubleshooting) Maintain a polished, professional presence Communicate clearly with dispatch and project leads Ensure all site documentation is completed and submitted correctly Troubleshoot and adapt as needed—no two sites are the same

Tools & Requirements:

Personal kit with basic tools (punch tool, toner/tester, crimper, laptop, etc.) Reliable vehicle and ability to travel within a 45-mile radius (with mileage pay beyond that) Smartphone with camera/internet access Excellent communication and time management 1099 contractor status

Pay & Perks:
