In this energetic role, you will install, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage systems across various commercial and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure seamless operation of systems such as CCTV, fiber optics, Ethernet networks, VoIP telephony, and data cabling. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with advanced technology while providing exceptional customer service and technical support. Install, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including CCTV cameras, fiber optic cabling, Ethernet networks (Cat5, Cat6), and VoIP telephony equipment. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately complete installations and repairs. Perform fiber splicing, cable terminations, and network setup in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and industry best practices. Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues, perform repairs on telecommunication equipment, and ensure system integrity. Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and testing devices to verify system performance and troubleshoot electrical or network faults. Collaborate with clients to provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions and resolving technical concerns efficiently. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, system configurations, and service reports for ongoing support and compliance. Proven experience as a Service Technician or Low Voltage Technician with a focus on telecommunications or networking systems. Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN (Local Area Network), Cisco routers, Juniper equipment, Ethernet cabling (Cat5/Cat6), and network installation procedures. Hands-on experience with CCTV installation, fiber splicing techniques, VoIP systems such as Avaya or similar platforms, and telecommunication infrastructure. Ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams accurately; familiarity with NEC standards is highly desirable. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting electrical issues. Knowledge of data center environments and IT infrastructure is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
