The Trainee will execute actions necessary to conduct satellite operations and maintenance required to sustain the operability of communications-electronics equipment located at the Remote Tracking Stations (RTS). To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! Responsibilities Configures, operates and maintains assigned systems during satellite support, test, and maintenance activities. Initiates, directs and verifies completion of all operational events during the acquisition, tracking and commanding functions of each operational support. Maintains cognizance of station equipment status. Repairs and aligns all equipment in accordance with TOs/TMs or commercial manuals. Ensures Preventive Maintenance Inspection (PMI) activities are accomplished as scheduled. Maintains vehicle folders. Prepare daily activity log entries. Performs all required systems administration on mission related equipment. Qualifications Must be a US Citizen with eligibility to obtain and maintain Secret clearance. Associate's degree in Electronics, or 2 years equivalent experience in lieu of degree. Must possess strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Must be familiar with the use of and be able to operate electronic test equipment to include multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, signal generators, power meters, and data analyzers. Must be able to climb high ladders, work on elevated platforms and antennas. Must be able to perform strenuous physical work to include walking, lifting, pulling loads, bending, kneeling, sitting and reaching overhead. Must have COMPTIA Cloud + and/or SEC + or be able to obtain certification within 6months of hire.
