Roles and Responsibilities:
The Contractor shall abide by all local DPW and NEC policies. The Switch Technicians shall answer all calls within three rings during noted business hours on non-holidays. The automated answering services (i.e., on-call number or voicemail) shall be set to respond within three rings. The Contractor shall manage, distribute, and publish telephone directories by posting on the installation intranet site a quick reference guide. The Contractor shall provide technically qualified personnel to perform O&M of the ISP systems and equipment. The Contractor shall perform all administrative, O&M functions, and routines required for the telephone switching equipment, voice mail system, firewall and other systems directly connected to the switch. The Contractor shall perform customer features and activate and de-activate voice mail accounts. Inside plant personnel shall have ISP experience on maintenance, installation, testing, optimization, and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems, to include specialized experience with the type of telephone equipment identified in the PWS. The Contractor shall always ensure full operational capability and system availability. The Contractor will inspect and maintain Telephone Switch backup batteries.
Pay:
$30.00 - $32.50 per hour
