Job Description
In keeping with our mission of providing high-quality, reliable service, the Communications Technician position supports S&T's objective by providing quick response and quality service to all our customers. Tasks include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting new and existing services from our outside plant telecommunications facilities. This position will also be responsible for routine testing and maintenance using various test and plant locating equipment. S&T values prior experience but also provides extensive on-the-job training in the various technologies and techniques used in the field.
