Job Title:
Communications Technician (IT) At TanMar Communications, we have truly given a new name to being a solutions and service provider, and pride ourselves with our very stable internet service in remote locations. Being able to provide a full line of communications products has enabled us to satisfy any customer's needs and requests. Our IT department ensures that every site is working with 24-hour remote monitoring service. We also specialize in optimizing our customer's onsite communication abilities by providing a complete line of wired and wireless intercom and paging systems, cell phone boosters, wireless routers, and video surveillance that can be viewed and operated remotely.Job Description:
Looking for a reliable and dependable employee who is able to demonstrate familiarity with equipment used in the communications field. Periodically, the employee will be scheduled to work an "on-call" rotation for weekends, evenings, and holidays. Other responsibilities include the ability to: Install & point RF systems, including LTE, multipoint access points, and antennas Make appropriate cabling for installation of LTE equipment, as well as RF, and other equipment Turn in daily paperwork, such as field tickets, inspections, and JSEA's Troubleshoot and repair damaged or failing equipment Respond to service calls 24/7 Travel to/from facilities and field locations in all weather conditions Must be able to lift heavy supplies and equipment and work long hours Tracking of time spent on jobs, as well as mileage to/from locations Work in compliance with safety requirements Routinely keep up with company vehicle maintenance & maintain a clean vehicle and workplace Provide outstanding customer serviceRequired :
High school diploma or equivalent- At least 1 year technical experience needed Maintain a valid driver's license and must meet the requirements of the Company Vehicle Policy Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, as well as background check
