A Broadband Technician works both inside and outside of a residential or business customer's building to install, change, repair and disconnect broadband services including data, digital TV and voice services. Troubleshoots at time of installation and returns at scheduled time if technical issues arise. Educates customers about ordered services.

Job Description

$70,000 - $110,000 is the expected range for starting Technicians, with Senior Technicians having a higher earning potential. If you use an approved personal work vehicle, we offer a higher wage upon release, and a $1000.00 bonus after 90 days. Excellent benefit package. We have a fantastic opportunity in the Madison area for those driven and qualified to uphold the reputation that we have established since 2008, when we started doing business as Telecommunication Contractors. This position is for work in the Augusta, MI area. Must be comfortable working on a ladder and in crawl spaces. Please apply with these considerations. Job Responsibilities:
  • Work independently with the opportunity to start from home each day.
  • Install services in Customers' residences or commercial buildings. Test and troubleshoot equipment and connections and explain services before leaving the premises.
  • Provide overhead and underground drops by following your trainer/lead's instructions throughout various addresses.
  • Utilize test equipment to ensure signal strength and connection.
Job Skills & Qualifications Required:
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds, maneuver in Telecom Rooms and be comfortable with working while on a ladder.
  • Valid state driver's license
Experience Preferred:
  • Fiber
  • Ethernet
  • Running lines in Residential/Commercial buildings
  • Candidates with a personal vehicle are preferred and are eligible for a higher pay rate.
