Telecommunications Field Technician (1099 Contractor)

Position:

Field Technician (Independent Contractor)

Contract Type:

1099

Independent Contractor Schedule:

Full-time, 6 days/week (you choose your day off)

Hours:

Standard shift: 8:00 AM - 7:00

PM Responsibilities:

Install and configure internet, TV, and phone equipment. Run cabling and complete basic configurations. Use mobile apps for job tracking and management. Provide on-site customer service.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in cabling or fiber-optic installations (preferred but not required). Reliable, punctual, and professional. Strong customer service skills. Comfortable working in crawl spaces and at heights.

Compensation:

Pay is per job completed , not hourly.

Weekly earnings range:

$1,400 - $1,800 (low season) $1,800 - $2,500 (high season) A payscale with rates per task will be provided

Requirements:

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Valid driver's license & Social Security Number. Must register a business (required before first payment). Must pass a drug test and background check Must own: Basic tools. Vehicle (Cargo Van, Pickup Truck, or Minivan).

Training:

Provided at no cost (unpaid).

Duration:

1-2 weeks, depending on experience. Quick learners can begin earning faster.

Equipment & Materials:
