1099 Cable Installer / Technician Independent Contractor | Paid Training | Production-Based Pay We are hiring dependable 1099 Cable Installers to perform residential internet, phone, and cable installation services. This is a production-based opportunity with strong earning potential for technicians who are reliable, professional, and able to complete multiple jobs per day.

$80 Experienced and proven residential technicians may have the opportunity to advance to Business/Commercial Class installations :

$135 Jobs typically take approximately 1-1.5 hours once you become experienced. Productive technicians may complete 6+ jobs per day . Additional increases of approximately $3-$5 per job are available through our tier system as technicians advance.

REQUIREMENTS

Must own a reliable truck, van, or SUV Must pass a background check Must pass a drug screen Must be dependable and able to work independently Must be willing to obtain/maintain required contractor insurance General Liability insurance is required after training completion Commercial Auto insurance is required after training completion Workers' Compensation coverage requirements will be discussed during onboarding We have an insurance representative available to help technicians obtain the required coverage at competitive rates.

TRAINING & TOOLS

Paid field training is provided at $80 per day , typically 5 days per week for approximately 2-3 weeks . Training consists primarily of ride-alongs with experienced technicians and hands-on, on-the-job experience , allowing you to learn the installation process in real-world customer environments. All required installation tools are provided outside of your vehicle and ladder racks . Tool costs are repaid through a $100 deduction per pay period until paid in full .

PAY SCHEDULE

Technicians begin on a weekly pay cycle , paid the following week. After the initial cycle, pay is issued weekly on Fridays .
