In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low-voltage systems across various facilities. Your expertise will ensure seamless communication, security, and data transmission for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, develop technical skills, and contribute to innovative infrastructure projects that power modern connectivity. Responsibilities Install, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage systems including CCTV, fiber optic cabling, structured wiring, and telecommunication systems Perform fiber splicing and fiber optic systems installation to ensure high-quality data transmission Set up and configure network equipment such as Cisco routers, switches, VoIP phones, and Ethernet connections Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute installation tasks Conduct diagnostics using specialized tools like ohmmeters, telecommunication testing equipment, and diagnostic software to identify issues Perform network wiring, cable termination (Cat5, Cat6), and structured cabling installation adhering to NEC standards Troubleshoot equipment failures in low-voltage electrical systems and telecommunications infrastructure to minimize downtime Collaborate with field service teams to complete on-site installations and repairs efficiently while providing excellent customer service Skills Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN configurations, Ethernet cabling, and network installation procedures Experience with fiber splicing techniques and fiber optic system setup for high-speed data transfer Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting telecommunication systems such as Avaya telephony and VoIP solutions Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and structured cabling standards (NEC guidelines) Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and testing devices safely and effectively in various environments Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems relevant to low-voltage wiring projects Knowledge of radio frequency (RF) testing methods for wireless communication systems Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients and team members Technical proficiency in using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters, multimeters, cable testers, and telecommunication testing equipment This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to expand their expertise in telecommunications infrastructure while delivering exceptional service.
