Responsibilities Install and configure telecommunications equipment such as routers, switches, satellite dishes, and fiber optic cables in residential and commercial environments Perform network installation tasks including Ethernet wiring, low voltage cabling, and telephony setup to ensure reliable connectivity Use hand tools like wire strippers, crimpers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and power tools to complete installations accurately and efficiently Conduct fiber splicing and testing to verify proper signal transmission and troubleshoot issues as needed Operate company vehicles safely while traveling to job sites; adhere to all safety protocols during outdoor work activities Assist customers by providing clear explanations of system setups and resolving technical issues on-site Maintain detailed documentation of installation procedures, test results, and service reports Qualifications Proven experience working as a telecommunications infrastructure technician or similar field service role with a focus on network installation Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including Ethernet, telephony systems, and low voltage wiring Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wire cutters, and electrical testers; familiar with power tools for outdoor work Experience with fiber splicing techniques and equipment testing methods for telecommunications networks Ability to operate ladders safely and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions Familiarity with Cisco routers or similar networking hardware is preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a company vehicle is a plus Electrical work experience or background in low voltage systems is advantageous Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering top-tier telecommunications solutions!
