Primary Responsibilities:
Answer burglar and fire alarm signals received via computer Effectively dispatch emergency alarms Coordinate activities with police and fire departments during alarms Place alarms in and out of test mode while technicians are servicing alarms Notify customers of alarm, trouble and supervisory signals on subscribers' premises Monitoring of all types of alarm signals including but not limited to surveillance videos Data entry Effectively communicate with customers Multitask and manage priorities Contact supervisor by telephone to report irregularities and obtain further instructions Basic Qualifications Highschool Diploma or GED Customer Service Experience Ability to handle multi phone lines and high volume of incoming calls Ability to work weekends and holidays Must be able to work both Saturday and Sundays Preferred Qualifications Experience as a central station operator Ability to use judgement and decision making skills to evaluate situations Ability work under stressful situations Actively listen and communicate effectively through clear speech and hearing
Salary:
$20-$25.00 an hour
