What they do
A Telecommunications Field Technician telecommunications Field Service Technician installs, repairs and maintains voice, data and video systems for a company's customers at the customer site. Prepares and documents a customer's network prior to implementing telecommunication system. Installs IP, network equipment and facilities. Acts as the first point of issue resolution, responds to field engineering issues and troubleshooting telecommunication problems. May train less experienced field technicians.

Job Description
- Valid driver's license, car insurance, clean driving record and reliable transportation are required
- Ability to use smart phones, tablets and laptops.
- Must have Microsoft office experience (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to spend long hours on your feet.
- Utility construction in an outside plant environment preferred.

- Taking pictures of work performed and submitting field notes to engineers.
- Coordinate activities and manage the engineering and construction for assigned utility projects.
- Perform pre-construction surveys.
