Prepares and documents a customer's network prior to implementing telecommunication system. Installs IP, network equipment and facilities. Acts as the first point of issue resolution, responds to field engineering issues and troubleshooting telecommunication problems. May train less experienced field technicians.

The Field Service Technician performs installation, start-up, troubleshooting, and routine service of Aqua-Aerobic Systems, Inc. equipment, ensuring work aligns with our standards and customer expectations. This position will be 100% nationwide travel, with occasional visits to the onsite office in Loves Park, IL. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Results/Execution Complete assigned service jobs efficiently and within the expected timeframe. Ensure no rework or follow-up trips are needed by meeting company standards. Submit accurate and timely Field Service Reports (FSRs) and documentation. Problem Solving/Decision Making Diagnose basic mechanical and electrical problems and escalate complex issues appropriately. Coordinate with technical support and Project Managers for guidance, as needed. Planning & Organizing Verify tools, drawings, and materials prior to job site visits. Allocate on-site time for communication with Project Managers for guidance, as needed. Continuous Improvement Offer observations and feedback from job sites to enhance future installations. Participate in ongoing product and safety training. Communication Skills Provide clear and detailed field service reports and progress updates. Use phone, email, and messaging appropriately and professionally. Collaborative Skills Support fellow technicians and coordinate field responsibilities with the broader team. Maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners on-site. Job Knowledge Understand Aqua-Aerobic Systems, Inc. equipment operation and basic maintenance. Continuously seek to expand skills through formal and informal learning. Work Environment Primarily field-based, requiring travel to customer sites. Occasional office work for coordination and reporting. Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of field service or technical experience; technical degree or certification preferred; valid driver's license. Mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to read schematics Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a team environment
Salary Range:
$38.91 - $49.50 per hour
