Telecommunications Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in telecommunications systems and have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various telecommunications equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Duties Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications systems including surveillance systems, alarm systems, Low voltage cabling, fiber optics, POTS lines, smarthands, networks, and CCTV, etc. Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed. Collaborate with clients to design systems that meet their specific needs. Utilize hand tools and remote access software for installation and maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of service performed, equipment installed, and customer interactions. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in telecommunications technology. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role within the telecommunications field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively. Familiarity with system design principles for surveillance technologies. Proficiency in using remote access software for troubleshooting purposes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
