A rapidly expanding power infrastructure and field services firm is seeking skilled DC Power Technicians to assist with critical power, utility, and telecommunications projects throughout East Tennessee and the surrounding regions. This field-based position involves managing DC power plants, battery systems, and critical infrastructure, including live power hot cuts for a variety of industrial and commercial clients. We are currently seeking both Level III technicians and senior Level IV working foremen who possess the expertise to manage field operations, guide crews, and provide technical leadership on-site. Core Responsibilities Execute the installation, routine maintenance, and diagnostic troubleshooting of DC power equipment. Assist with the deployment and replacement of battery systems and DC power plant infrastructure. Ensure the safety and efficiency of live power work and hot cuts to maintain uninterrupted service. Operate within diverse environments such as data centers, utility substations, and telecom central offices. Analyze equipment documentation, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installations. Perform comprehensive quality inspections and site assessments. Verify system performance and conduct alarm testing to guarantee reliability. Collaborate with project teams to create and implement effective Methods of Procedure (MOPs). Travel across the designated service area to meet client project requirements. Foster positive client relationships through professional conduct and clear communication. Key Duties for Level IV Technicians Direct field crews while serving as a working foreman. Oversee jobsite safety protocols and operational execution. Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced technicians. Act as the primary technical authority during complex cutovers and installations. Compensation Details Level III $28.00 - $34.00 per hour. Significant opportunities for overtime pay. Level IV $34.00 - $40.00 per hour. Per diem allowance:

$155 daily for travel exceeding 50 miles. Stipend provided for daily local travel. Safe driving incentive program offering $100 monthly. Annual performance-based bonus opportunities. Incentives and gift cards awarded through customer feedback programs. Operational Schedule and Travel Attendance at the Knoxville office is mandatory every Monday at 8:00 AM. The remainder of the week is dedicated to project work and customer service calls. Regional travel is a requirement of the position. Occasional overnight travel may be necessary based on project demands. Flexibility is required for overtime, emergency response, and shifting schedules. Required Qualifications Level III Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecom, electrical, critical infrastructure, or DC power. Proven background working with DC power plants and battery systems. Capacity to perform field tasks with minimal supervision. Proficiency in interpreting wiring diagrams and technical schematics. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities. Level IV Extensive DC power expertise combined with proven crew leadership abilities. Demonstrated history of managing field installations and project execution. Excellent interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions. Ability to maintain a hands-on technical role while leading as a foreman.
