Job Description
Position Summary C2O Americas is seeking an experienced Low Voltage / Telecommunications Technician to support the installation, termination, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of telecommunications and low-voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with structured cabling, fiber optics, CAT6/CAT6A, network infrastructure, and telecommunications equipment in commercial, industrial, data center, or similar environments. Key Responsibilities Install, route, terminate, label, and test CAT6/CAT6A and low-voltage cabling. Install and terminate fiber-optic cabling, including fiber patch panels and associated equipment. Install cable tray, J-hooks, supports, pathways, and low-voltage conduit. Build out and organize IDFs, MDFs, telecommunications rooms, and network racks. Perform rack-and-stack installation of network and telecommunications equipment. Install patch panels, data jacks, cabinets, racks, and related communications hardware. Perform copper and fiber testing using appropriate test equipment, including Fluke testers. Troubleshoot cabling, connectivity, and low-voltage system issues. Read and interpret telecommunications drawings, cable schedules, floor plans, and installation details. Maintain proper cable identification, labeling, routing, and documentation. Support testing, commissioning, punch-list completion, and system turnover activities. Operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other equipment as required. Follow all project safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Required Qualifications 3+ years of Low Voltage / Telecommunications experience preferred. Hands-on experience with
