A Telecommunications Field Technician telecommunications Field Service Technician installs, repairs and maintains voice, data and video systems for a company's customers at the customer site. Prepares and documents a customer's network prior to implementing telecommunication system. Installs IP, network equipment and facilities. Acts as the first point of issue resolution, responds to field engineering issues and troubleshooting telecommunication problems. May train less experienced field technicians.

Job Description We are seeking an Engineering Technologist to support utility and telecommunications infrastructure projects from cradle to grave. This role blends fieldwork, surveying, design, permitting, and project coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on work and office-based engineering support. Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Surveying, GIS, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Experience working in utility, telecommunications, construction, surveying, or field engineering environments. Comfortable performing both field and office work. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. General knowledge of utility or telecommunications infrastructure. Experience with surveying and GPS data collection. Familiarity with Trimble, Katapult, or similar field collection technologies. Experience reading and interpreting utility maps, construction drawings, and engineering plans. Understanding of easement, right-of-way, and permitting processes.
