A Telecommunications Field Technician telecommunications Field Service Technician installs, repairs and maintains voice, data and video systems for a company's customers at the customer site. Prepares and documents a customer's network prior to implementing telecommunication system. Installs IP, network equipment and facilities. Acts as the first point of issue resolution, responds to field engineering issues and troubleshooting telecommunication problems. May train less experienced field technicians.

Skills and Requirements Qualifications:
- Good with 70% travel across the US.
  • Problem solver, organized, works autonomously, reliable and trustworthy, good communication skills
  • Comfortable climbing and working at heights (20') while tethered with a safety harness
  • Can utilize software and comfortable traveling up to 75% of the time
  • Great attitude and representation of the company.
This position interacts with customers as part of the installation and service process. Day to
Day:
  • The Field Technician is responsible for installing and servicing our leading Feed Bin Monitoring devices across the US.
  • The company is experiencing significant growth, so there will be frequent travel (paid) to animal producer locations (chicken and swine) across the US.
  • Installing our devices is simple. They attach to the lip of the feed bin opening with a bolt on a bracket using a flathead screwdriver. We don't service our devices in the field, so the work is always simply swapping devices and connecting them through our app on your phone.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to review the weekly install and service plan
  • Utilize our software to accept and complete work orders
  • Contact customers to arrange logistics
  • Book your travel utilizing our company travel platform
  • Travel to customer locations and install bin monitor devices
