Overview Join our dynamic team as a Radio Communications-Electronics Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and enhancing critical communication systems. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain radio communication equipment, ensuring seamless connectivity for operational success. Your expertise will support field service operations, contribute to system reliability, and uphold safety standards across diverse environments. Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of radio communication systems and associated electronic equipment. Use hand tools, schematics, and testing devices like ohmmeters to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot equipment in various locations, ensuring minimal downtime. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and system configurations for documentation and future reference. Assist in the calibration and testing of computer hardware related to communication systems and network infrastructure. Interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams to accurately identify faults and execute repairs. Support low voltage electrical work, ensuring compliance with safety standards during maintenance procedures. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with hands-on work in radio communications or electronics repair. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency using hand tools and testing instruments such as ohmmeters. Familiarity with computer hardware, networking concepts, and troubleshooting network-related issues. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams accurately. Experience working in field service environments with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance. Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and safety protocols related to electronics servicing. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
