Field Service Technician (1099 Contractor) Apex Global Workforce Inc Richmond, VA Job Details Contract $20 - $65 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication CCTV Hardware maintenance Ability to follow instructions Hand tools Mobile devices Full Job Description Apex Global Workforce is seeking dependable and professional Field Service Technicians throughout Richmond to join our growing network of technical support contractors. Technicians will support a variety of commercial, retail, and enterprise service projects including POS system installations, device deployments, smart hands support, low-voltage work, structured cabling, hardware replacements, troubleshooting, and general onsite technical support.
Responsibilities:
Complete onsite service assignments professionally and efficiently Install, replace, and troubleshoot technical equipment Take clear photos and document work performed Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and remote support teams Follow project instructions and meet service deadlines Maintain professionalism while representing Apex Global Workforce onsite
Preferred Experience:
POS systems Smart hands support Low-voltage cabling Structured cabling Network equipment installations Printer and hardware support Device deployments Retail technology support CCTV installations Telecommunications support
Requirements:
Reliable transportation Smartphone with camera and internet access Basic hand tools Strong communication skills Ability to work independently Prior field service or technical support experience preferred

Independent Contractor Work Availability:
