A Telecommunications Field Technician telecommunications Field Service Technician installs, repairs and maintains voice, data and video systems for a company's customers at the customer site. Prepares and documents a customer's network prior to implementing telecommunication system. Installs IP, network equipment and facilities. Acts as the first point of issue resolution, responds to field engineering issues and troubleshooting telecommunication problems. May train less experienced field technicians.

Qualifications About You:
Understanding of Telecom, Fiber, and Outside Plant preferred, but not required Relevant experience with utilities, cabling, or construction, is also considered Excellent communication for daily interaction with various teams Experience using Visio for field notes preferred. High school diploma and completed courses from technical school or community college preferred, but not required Must be authorized to work in the U.S You have a valid driver's license (Applicants are subject to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review and must meet company standards for a safe driving record) Willing to be trained and adapt to changing industry trends; continue education for Engineering design and best practices Must be local to the markets for site surveys Compensation of $25-$35 per hour.
