is a growing low-voltage and technology company providing business phone systems, IT services, structured cabling, surveillance cameras, access control, paging systems, and network infrastructure throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest. We are looking for an experienced technician who can work independently, troubleshoot problems, and provide excellent service to our customers. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications & Low Voltage Technician with experience installing, troubleshooting, and supporting business phone systems, paging systems, and structured cabling. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with customers, identifying solutions, preparing quotes, and performing installations from start to finish. Responsibilities Install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain business phone systems. Support both on-premise VoIP systems and hosted cloud-based phone platforms. Diagnose and resolve phone, network, and connectivity issues. Install and service paging systems, speakers, amplifiers, and related equipment. Pull, terminate, label, and test CAT5e, CAT6, and other low-voltage cabling. Mount and install racks, patch panels, phones, paging equipment, and associated hardware. Meet with customers to identify needs and recommend solutions. Prepare quotes and project estimates for customers. Complete service calls, installations, and system upgrades. Document work performed and maintain accurate records. Travel to customer locations throughout Wisconsin and surrounding areas as needed. Qualifications Experience with overhead paging systems required. Experience with business phone systems required. Experience with VoIP and hosted/cloud phone systems required. Ability to troubleshoot telecommunications and network-related issues. Experience pulling and terminating low-voltage cabling. Ability to read floor plans and installation drawings. Strong customer service and communication skills. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Comfortable working on ladders and lifting equipment up to 50 pounds.

Pay:
$23.50 - $28.50 per hour
