Job Description
Overview We are seeking a Technician to join our family owned team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in mechanical and some basic electrical systems, with hands-on experience in service and maintenance. This role requires a individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, winterizing, de-winterizing and routine maintenance on inboard/outboard marine applications such as but not limited to Mercruiser and Volvo engines which are variants of Chevrolet GM engines. Some training or specialized tools will be provided. Our operating hours are 9-5 Monday through Friday with a 1 hour lunch at the time of your choice. We are off on holidays. Pay is based on experience; Starting with hourly or hourly + commission and stepping up to full commission after a to be determined probation period. •21 years of age and older Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on boats Engage in heavy lifting of outdrives and physically demanding work. Maintain records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on tasks. Work hand and hand with family oriented team members to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
