Job Description
Seeking dependable and experienced marine construction boat lift mechanic. This position will include working with the crew on different jobs and also working solo, servicing and repairing boat lift mechanical and electrical systems in the Baldwin County area.
Responsibilities:
- You must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and have strong mechanical knowledge.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot boat lift issues
- Replace and repair motors, switches, pulleys, etc. on boat lifts
- Must have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn, as well as having reliable transportation and a working phone
- Can lift minimum 100lb
- Comfortable working in and around water safely
- Safely operate hand/power tools
- Construction of piers, docks, boathouses, seawalls; Installation and maintenance of boatlifts
- Assist with other marine construction and service-related tasks as needed
- Must have basic tools: tape measure, hammer, screwdrivers, pliers, adjustable wrenches etc.
