Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Small Engine Mechanic, where you will be the go-to expert for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines and related equipment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of machinery, including lawnmowers, generators, and power tools, ensuring they operate at peak performance. Your expertise will keep our customers' outdoor equipment and small engine systems running smoothly, providing reliable service that exceeds expectations. We're looking for a motivated professional with a passion for mechanical repair and a keen eye for detail to help us deliver exceptional results every day. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair small engines, including lawnmowers, generators, and other power equipment using schematics and technical manuals Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, spark plug replacements, and belt adjustments to ensure optimal engine performance Troubleshoot electrical systems and conduct electrical diagnostics on various equipment to identify faults accurately Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs efficiently Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of equipment parts during repairs or maintenance tasks while adhering to safety standards Inspect mechanical systems and mechanical components for wear or damage; replace or repair parts as needed Maintain detailed service records, update work orders, and communicate repair status clearly with team members and customers Skills Proven dealership experience or service technician background in small engine repair or automotive repair is highly desirable Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in engine repair and equipment troubleshooting Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering devices, and other mechanical repair tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain repairs clearly and professionally Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and working in various environmental conditions Computer Knowledge Join us if you're eager to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment where your expertise makes a real difference. Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour
