In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of golf carts and electric vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers and support the smooth operation of our fleet. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics with a passion for vehicle repair and a desire to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on golf carts and electric vehicles using automotive diagnostic tools to identify mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues. Repair or replace with the ability to lift 65 to 100lbs, faulty components including motors, batteries, wiring, brakes, suspension parts, and other mechanical systems. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and assembly tools to complete repairs efficiently and accurately. Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met; document all repairs and maintenance performed. Assist with the assembly of new golf carts or vehicle upgrades as needed; ensure all work complies with safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering advice on vehicle care and maintenance. Experience Previous dealership experience or service technician background plus but not required, willing to train right applicant for this position; familiarity with LSV Golf Carts is preferred. Proven Golf Cart mechanic experience with diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Experience working with automotive assembly or in a dealership setting is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for continuous learning is essential. Driver license is required.
