Experienced Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Mechanic / Dyno Tuner Performance Motoring, LLC Gardena, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $28.78 - $34.66 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Machine repair Hand tools Full Job Description Overview We are looking for an experienced Motorcycle Mechanic / Harley-Davidson Technician to join our motorcycle shop in Gardena, California. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience working on Harley-Davidson motorcycles, including diagnostics, repairs, performance upgrades, custom builds, engine work, electrical troubleshooting, and tuning. Experience using a dyno machine and tuning motorcycles is highly preferred. We are looking for someone who takes pride in clean, quality work, understands performance motorcycles, can troubleshoot confidently, and knows how to work efficiently in a busy shop environment. This is a great opportunity for a skilled mechanic who loves Harleys, performance builds, and working with a team that values craftsmanship. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and service Harley-Davidson motorcycles Perform general maintenance, inspections, and repairs Complete engine, transmission, clutch, brake, suspension, and electrical work Install performance upgrades, aftermarket parts, exhaust systems, handlebars, lighting, and accessories Perform custom motorcycle work and modifications Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment properly Tune motorcycles and assist with dyno tuning when needed Troubleshoot drivability, fuel, ignition, and performance issues Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Communicate repair needs clearly and professionally Complete work accurately and efficiently Help maintain high shop standards and customer satisfaction Qualifications Prior motorcycle mechanic experience required Harley-Davidson experience strongly preferred Experience with Harley touring bikes, Softails, Dynas, Sportsters, baggers, and custom builds preferred Dyno machine experience is a major plus Motorcycle tuning experience highly preferred Strong knowledge of V-twin engines, fuel systems, exhaust, electrical, suspension, brakes, and performance upgrades Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Must have your own basic tools Valid driver's license preferred Motorcycle license preferred but not required ASE, MMI, Harley-Davidson, or other motorcycle training/certifications are a plus, but hands-on experience matters most
