This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with precision tools and mechanical systems, ensuring that each engine is carefully dismantled for parts reuse, resale, or recycling. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to quality control and sustainable manufacturing practices. Responsibilities Safely disassemble automotive engines using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining techniques Conduct thorough quality control inspections on engine components to identify wear, damage, or defects Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move heavy engine parts safely within the workspace Maintain detailed records of disassembly procedures, parts inventory, and quality control checks Assist in the reassembly or preparation of engine parts for resale or recycling as needed Identifying engines and tagging them palletizing engines according to which plant they go to Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or manufacturing environments Skilled in using hand tools, power tools Experience with assembly techniques preferred Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklift equipment preferred Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and safety standards Join us in transforming automotive dismantling into an art of precision!
